Well maybe it's because there is no such word. So, although this blog might offend the hard workers at the OED and Webster's, who are very unlikely to ever stumble across this, perhaps we can try (in a small, maybe tiny way) to help our language evolve in useful or maybe just curious ways.Jimhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02488810371260052490noreply@blogger.comBlogger5125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6669186327617902488.post-64604049052877854212007-11-30T12:41:00.002-08:002007-12-01T11:15:09.510-08:00InstamacyInstamacy (noun)

Desire for extremely rapid intimacy in a relationship. Usually used to refer to people who have an unusually strong desire for intimacy. These people often communicate things about themselves that healthy people might consider inappropriate and ask invasive questions to try to pry open friends and to create and artificial sense of closeness in relationships.

John's penchant for instamacy often scared away his dates before they had a chance to enjoy a few sips of their first drink
Jimhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02488810371260052490noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6669186327617902488.post-15533526916212133982007-11-30T12:41:00.001-08:002007-11-30T12:41:20.510-08:00MelapathyJimhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02488810371260052490noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6669186327617902488.post-87139031184933546692007-11-30T12:40:00.001-08:002007-11-30T12:40:59.404-08:00Mind BaloneyJimhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02488810371260052490noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6669186327617902488.post-6774985343491225082007-11-30T12:39:00.000-08:002007-11-30T12:45:34.648-08:00Neural enimaJimhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02488810371260052490noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6669186327617902488.post-45894755306041051852007-11-21T13:02:00.000-08:002007-11-21T13:10:36.643-08:00Sarcurious (adj.); Sarcuriosity (n.)Have you ever found yourself confused by your own speech, unsure if you're being serious or sarcastic. Sarcuriosities are comments that are curiously and precipitously balanced on the line that separates the sincere and serious from the ironic and sarcastic. Often both meanings are real and relevant. Sarcuriosities are verbal dualities, kind of like the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle of language.

Jim's friends were often confused by the sarcurious nature of his comments.
Jimhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02488810371260052490noreply@blogger.com1
